I have switched my 1 year old BRB from mulch to paper with a moss box. I was wondering if it is ok to change my 1 month and 3 month BRBs to paper. I know babies need a lot of humidity. Any experiences or personal thoughts appreciated.

I’ve had my BRB on paper towels since he was a baby and have had no problems---and it’s much easier to clean up messes than when using mulch!
When Loki was tiny I would spritz the bedding occasionally with water, but I discovered it was really unnecessary with the damp moss hides I use. The moss hides provide enough humidity to fog up the tank (which has limited ventilation). I put a moss hide on the cool side and one on the warm side, so Loki can pick based on his preferred temperature of the moment (and sometimes I even add a third in the middle so he has maximum choice; probably overkill).

1.0 BRB (Loki)
2.0 amel & anery corns (Foxfire & Daguerre)
0.1 blood python (Duchess, arriving later this month)
1.1 Cats (Nightshade & Cuzzy)
All of mine are on paper, from birth on!!!
A proper enclosure with limited ventilation and a source of water, large water dish or damp moss, will supply the necessary humidity.

26.49 BRB
20.21 BCI
And those are only the breeders
lots.lots.lots feeder mice and rats

My babies, when in a shoe box size container, are on moist paper towels. Once they get 6 months old or so I switch them to a bigger sized area on paper with a moss box.
