Late this afternoon (in central NC) it was stormy; a great turtle day! Our whole crew was out scouring the ground for worms and such in the rain. We came back from dinner and went out to say hello. There, right out in the open was a new baby that had crawled out of its nest nearby. I took it in and put it in the baby tank. A few minutes later I went back out to look around (and in the hole), and I saw the cutest sight ever! The second baby was just sticking its tiny head out of the hole for the first time. What a huge world it must look like to him!! Just thought I'd share a happy turtle day!
