Who is working with the black mex mex?

shannon brown Aug 24, 2008 12:00 PM

I wish I would have bought them years ago from Kims colubrids. She had real killer ones and I think Ric Blair ended up with them.

Anyway, just wondering who had them?

No I moved them to make room for my hypo coastal project. Wish I had half of the projects I've started and let go of!

Ric definitely ended up with them....he got them a week before I got Kim's thayeri. As far as I know Ric is still working with them. I know Split Rock Reptiles has some of Ric's and should be producing offspring

First photo is the dam of my current clutch. She has gotten darker since this photo was taken in January.

Next two photos is of her sister who will be bred next season. She is in pre-shed, so her colors are a bit dull.

Like this gal? She hasn't produced viable eggs this or last year. Yet, the same male used with her has produced viable eggs with another female.

1.3 Granite dam X Black line sire. The sire is not nearly as black as the gal posted above (yet), but he's one of her offspring.
