I have this problem with one of my girls too. I've heard it's some kind of liquid and you're supposed to get it drained by a vet. Problem is, I don't know how much it's going to take out of my wallet. Not that she isn't worth it, just a bit pricey at the time.

Thankyou! It's not very big...but, I will keep an eye on it. And, he's starting to shed, so, I will check it tomorrow.

My understanding of this has always been that they're fat deposits. They're a sign that your gecko is well fed and healthy. Definitely no need to go to the vet over this, and certainly don't get them drained!

"I posted around July 25 about my gecko having a "blister" under his front leg. I did take him to the vet and found it was a cyst. The vet drained it one day and it returned the next. She also noticed a tilt to his head and a dialated pupil in left eye. Any way after much loving and treating I had him put to sleep. He was ready to go and is at peace now. We were together for 7 years, 8 months. He is missed."

Not trying to pick a fight, just saying it wouldn't hurt to get it checked out.

Fair enough. However, it sounds like the gecko you're referencing had more symptoms than just a blister/lump/whatever under/behind a front leg. Frankly, it's hard to be 100% sure what we're talking about even with pictures, but without, it's very difficult.

Oh, I'm so very sorry for your loss.

I hope that's not what my little guy has. Thankyou for your reply, though.

If your leo has a matching set, one behind each leg, it's a good thing. It means your doll has a hearty appetite and is well fed. Commonly, leos get lumps that are just fat deposits.

Think of it as a safety net, for those months where they decline to eat as much.

Now, if your leo has a single strange lump somewhere, get that checked out...but fatty deposits? Sing happily for you have a healthy, happy leopard gecko and are doing everything right!

Thankyou!! I posted 2 pics..just, so everyone can see the lumps. I hope he's just a fat boy. He does eat rather well.

I looked at the pictures. You have a happy, healthy and chunky leo there.

Those fat deposits are a good thing, like I said. But if they really bother you, cut back on the food a little bit...they'll go down almost immediately.

Ahh..thankyou. I'm not to worried now. I'm so happy that they're really nothing. Thankyou for taking the time to view my pics, and all.
