jsinhardcore Aug 24, 2008 07:33 PM

just picked this guy up and and im looking for some small(fun) project ideas to base around him (only thing that comes to my mind is picking up a female "fire" or 2 to go for a "hypo, motley, opal, diffused ?). thanx for any opinions/input.

My motley lav will eventually be bred to:

Charcoal - eventually make motley charcoal, charcoal lav
Caramel - I have no idea what a caramel lav would look like, has it been done ??
RO het Motley - test my boy for amel (he's 50% het) and eventually produce opal motley
hypo het lav - towards producing hypo motley lav

I would at some point like to breed him to a fire, as there would be some very interesting results in the F2.

Just what I'm planning -

I'm also hoping to cross the lavender gene into Okeetee (using Abbott bloodline) - I'm hoping to be able to make an improved lavender that grows fast and big.

I'm working on Hypo Motley Plasma (lavender, Bloodred). I like the Plasma look more than the Bloodred Albino look.
Just my 2 cents.

Yeah,....I like the "plasma" project too,....there's something about vivid purple/pink snakes that is very appealing.
