Non-breeding males????????

tattooz79 Sep 04, 2003 08:42 PM

Can it be that a male dragon is not interested in breeding?????

All my other males are MORE than willing to jump on ANYTHING that resembles any lizard. I bought a red/gold male (yes it is a male), and put him in the enclosure with 2 females. After the Alpha female tried to show dominance and little romp around the enclosure (6'x 8') the male ended it victorious, and then.......nothing. My other males, it was 24-7. I have a male I refuse to breed anymore because of his raging hormones.

Maybe he's homosexual. NOT THAT THERE IS ANYTHING WRONG WITH THAT!! But, I dunno, I've played the Barry White tapes.....

Perhaps it's the wrong time of the year?

I've never had that problem before. Like I said all my other males will breed more than willingly. Are some males pickier than other about season. If they are, you may be right. But it would be a first for me.
