Daytona Expo Pics

Jeff Tillis Aug 25, 2008 08:40 AM

Here is a link to some of my Daytona Expo pics. The best deal I took home was the pair of yearling Malagassy ground boas for $350. Sometimes it pays to be there when the doors open.

Hey Jeff, took the liberty of displaying all your pics here to make it easier to look at them all.

Thanks. Did not think you could link more than three that way. Will remember it the next time.

np, there's no limit to how many you can link using the img tags. And the cool part is you can write text in-between so each pic has it's own description as well.....

These are from a recent litter of BRB's....

Hmmmm, I know what that is...WOOHOO, she dropped her babies. Opened the door, pulled that one and the water bowl and moss tub...

looked in and saw..... "MOM, here comes the bad man, save me!"

So only two had left the pile as of then, must have been laid very recently. In the moss tub were the rest of the babies, still in the sacks.

Still in the sack and all slimey

Stretching the sack to the limit

and a closeup of the pile, lotsa really nice ones in this litter!!!!

What a beautiful litter Dave ! I like your wood work there too,LOL
You have me curious about the PVC insert ? I'm trying to figure what purpose it will serve. What ever the use it seems like a good idea.LOL
Also did you use shoe to trim in ( install ) that window on your enclosure ? Looks very nice.

Shoe some people know it as quarter round. Wanted to be clear so as not to confuse anyone.

Thanks,

The PVC allows me to connect multiple cages together for breeding. Simply remove the screw in plugs.

The window is simple deeper slot at top, raise glass up in the slot and drop into the lower one. I did add a flat trim on either side - wedged in - to hold glass still and prevent accidental removal.

The PVC is A pass through smart. I thought either that utilities of some type or climate control idea(adding warm moist air). I'm not real familiar with climate for Brazilian Rainbow .
The window installation is nice. I like seeing examples of your work ( Boas & wood work, lol)

Thanks April, That tiny little head poking up over mom's body is one of my favorite pics. Too bad her face is out of focus.

I thought a single male for that price was low, and you got a pair? Man, I don't know whether to call it a deal or a steal! Congratulations! Great pics, glad you posted them.
