Stillwaters from Daytona

MikeMurphy Aug 25, 2008 10:58 AM

So I was lucky to find some really nice Stillwaters in Daytona. The shot below is of the male that I got from Tom Stevens (tomssnakes.com). I got it on Friday during vendor setup and he only had had 3 males. He had just sold the only female (that he said was "awesome" a few minutes before. So I was bummed about that at first. But I found a nice female the next day. See next post. This is not the best shot but shows how nice he is. I'll get some better ones later. Mike

Man I think I was always one step behind you! I got two males from him also. Since Suncoast did not have any Stillwater hypo males. You robbed my of my hight contrast animals I was looking for. Anyway, I will have to get up a bit earlier next time. I can't wait for my pits to arrive from Daytona Wednesday!

Funny! I'd love to see the female that Tom said he sold right before I got to him. He said it was awesome. But I saw the two that you got and they were both really nice also. I actually debated over all three for a while but decided in the end that this one had the most contrast. However, I walked away thinking, "Did I pick the right one?" They were all pretty close in appearance. You won't be disappointed. I also had the advantage of being in there during vendor set and at 9:00 am each morning since I work at the Serpenco table during the show.
Enjoy 'em.

Yeah, thanks Jason. And thanks for the heads up that Tom had them out. I may have missed out on it otherwise.
