Stillwater (Female) from Daytona

MikeMurphy Aug 25, 2008 11:02 AM

Here is the female. She is a bit bigger and full of 'tude. The male is very mellow. I got her from John Schmitt of Suncoast, so according to John Ginter's post about wholesaling all of his Stillwaters to John, this may be one of those. She is awesome. I got her on Saturday morning; John had to dig into his crates to find the three females he had (all he had were the three females). All three were nice--one almost looked like an albino to me. This one stood out though because I really like a lot of contrast in snakes. Pretty nice, huh? John's a great guy and had some really nice pits on his table, including some great looking lineaticollis. When I checked his table later on, it looked like the other two females had sold.

I think I got the last two females. A friend is driving them up from Daytona Wendnesday. I will post pics of them when they arrive. Like you, I love when there is a lot of contrast. One of the two I got looks almost albino and they both have what looks like purple blotches on the tails. I cant wait for them to get. I will make sure and post pics.

Cool, Miller. You won't be disappointed. All three were really nice. The one that looked albino was wild. Great price, too, huh? Good luck with them and post shots for everyone.

Really nice Mike! Hope you don't mind my saying but it looks like one of the crosses to the Kingsville red bull. IMHO she is and will continue to be a smoker!

No, I don't mind Actually, I think John mentioned they were outcrossed. For this particular type, I'm more interested in looks than locality. This one just really hit me because of all the red and the contrast. Just a really pretty animal.

Glad I didn't upset! You never know what kind of reaction you'll get when you through out the "C" word. LOL
