First Ball Python

khalliaar Sep 04, 2003 09:15 PM

I'm getting my first Ball python on sunday. It is a captive bred from a pet store that I can trust. I was just wondering if there was anything specific I should do for it when I first get it home? I was also wondering, how long should I let it settle in before I try to feed it? I have researched balls for about 3 years now and am very nervous about getting my first little guy.
Thanks
Heather

Just leave it along for about 4 or 5 days and then maybe try and feed it an appropriate sized meal. If you've been researching balls for 3 years, you should pretty much know everything except what only experience can teach you. Good Luck!

i say leave it alone for a week at least ! then try to feed it. plus three years research, you probably know as much as the crocodile hunter about balls !!!

good luck, they're amazing pets to have.
