Any idea....

I just purchased this male and female at the Daytona show. I don't recall seeing these colorations in gray banded kingnakes and was wondering if anyone else has. They seem to have that "Thayeri" brown to them. Anyone have some info they want to share with me? Thank you! By the way, the male is retaining his oculars and I'll be looking into getting some Teramyacin to treat them tomorrow.

that orange suffusion is not uncommon in older alterna, usually it comes with age.
