Breeding Question

petie11o5 Aug 26, 2008 12:36 AM

I was going to breed in the future just because I think it would be awesome to breed 2 BRBs. Anyways I was wondering if it is smart to have more than just 1 male and 1 female in case those two didn't get along, I could introduce a different male to the female. Or would any male and any female BRB just breed? I hope you know what Im trying to say. Thank You!!

Some BRBs are good breeders and some are not. Your chances of producing babies with just one pair are fairly good, perhaps around 75%. Having a second male will increase the chances to perhaps 85%. A good motivated male can fertilize several females each year.
