True ghost bull or...

jodscovry Aug 26, 2008 04:25 PM

I picked this up from Tom at the expo where he tells me that it is a true ghost, it's the one in Toms post titled "first ever bulls hatched here" down the thread a bit. I'm no expert on morphs and this is my first morph I have ever owned, so dose everyone agree with the true ghost opinion? here are some pics. Joe B

none of those look ghosted to me. If those are true ghosts then it's not the same as what ghosts of other species. The pattern should appear as though you were viewing through a white semi opaque piece of plastic. See the other photo posted below of a ghost, somewhere under Susan's post. Know what I mean?

Well Tom will love to hear that news or view, he was sweatin when he handed it to me at the show. I like to find a male axanthic to breed it to. anybody you know of have axanthic bulls? Oh! and Joe the snakes in my post are all the same snake and pics were taken within seconds of each other, strange how brown she looks in the center pic, but the bottom picsdoes her justice. Joe B

that the gene is expressing itself differently in bullsnakes, I really don't know, I just know it doesn't have the typical look of a ghost.

Look at this post, and look at the snake in the center. Does your snake look anything like that in real life?

well I can't wait to hear from Tom...

Nah....I am not really sweating anything other than you being happy with your snake. That is the truth.
Think about it, if I misidentified it and OVERcharged you well that would be awful. If you got more than you bargained for, well I'd be fine with that. That info we discussed about Pines may be worth much more to me than this snake is in dollars.
I am goin to get some pics of one I have that is probably a Ghost. Stay tuned!
Great meeting you at the show!

I think that is an Axanthic. There must be some color variablity in those Axanthic. Like I posted above on Tom's tread. Great look'in snake reguardless.

Thanks for sharing.
