A long 5.5 months is over

Woke up and checked the incubator and found my Green tree monitors hatching - finally! That's a long incubation. Enjoy!!!!

those are beautiful monitors! i've wanted a pair of green trees for a while now but i feel like i shouldn't get any until i'm a bit more experienced

The "in the egg" photo is truly an award winner, like so many others have said. It made me feel as though I was witnessing the hatching in person. Very captivating.
