Besides having the best time I have had in a long time and doing well at the show I scored these beauties. I think they're all stunning.

You mean the Brooksi?
That is a Ghost 100% het for White Side. That will be an awesome snake for my triple het or Hypo White Sided 66% het Axanthic! Got it cheap too! Lovin it....

Are those the Mosaic Florida kings? And what kind of Cal is that? It's really cool.

Yes that is a Mosaic that Tom picked up.
the cal kings are something new. I picked up 1.2 of them and really like them. They popped out of a cluctrh of normal cal kings a few years ago. The guy who had them said they are a axanthic but don't look it to me. He also said he bred them to other strains of hypo/lavenders and all the babies came out normals. I think Kerby would be the guy to ask about these . I will post my stuff in the next couple days and ask him then.

You know - Rana draytonii use to be Rana aurora draytonii because they look extremely similar to Rana aurora (what use to be Rana aurora aurora) it turns out that Rana aurora is closer to Rana cascadae than it is to Rana draytonii.

The white speckling in this guy (I assume a hypo desert phase? Very nice whatever it is) -

I've seen some photos of wild Cal Kings that have extensive amount of white speckling in the black.

I would LOVE to see a line with speckling in the trade - don't know if it can be selectively bred from specimens like yours or not, or maybe there already are some lines (Shannon, got any?) - but they are IMHO an amazing pattern variation.
And yes - the Cal Kings pics I linked to were well away from splendida range ...
