Our Golden Retriever died about 4 months ago. It was a tough time for everyone in our family.

Last night we picked up not one, but two Golden pups a brother and sister.

Here they are.

This is the male

And female

I just had to share these guys with you all.

Awesome dog Brian. It's funny,I swear I just thought to myself,"I wonder when Brian's gonna post pix of his new pup"? I just got outta the shower and hit refresh and BAM, there it is! Tis the season of puppies. We're gonna have to get him and my new pup together for a play date sometime soon. Congrats!

fgs Aug 27, 2008 06:58 PM

How ironic......

The play date sounds great, just let me know when.

Sorry to hear that Brian. I am a big time dog lover and my Rott is going on 11 years old and really starting to show his age. He has the puppy mentality still, but the old man body! He is getting a little wobbly on his feet and there is some nights I carry him up to flights of stairs to our bedroom to go to bed! LOL He is a lean 100lbs and when I pick him up he looks at me like, "Is this really necessary!"

Great looking pups and I hope they bring you tons of enjoyment over the years!

Here is my boy with his happy & serious look!

Thanks for sharing.

Nice looking pups Brian.

Good luck with the potty training! We're going through it right now with our pup and it seems like a full time job sometimes.

Thanks for sharing!

I also lost my best buddy back in January to an extreme case of cancer...it came out of nowhere and I was faced with the choice of either letting him suffer and bringing him home or to put him down in peace...

That is something I hope no one else ever has to decide.........

Here are our newest family members.....Simon & George ( brothers )

So sorry to hear that Brian. I know that nothing will ever replace your old dog, but it doesn't mean you can't show 2 new dogs all the love you have to give. Best of luck and congrats on the cute pups!!
