We just got a nice sized (about 5 1/2 feet little smaller then a softball around) adult female yesterday and she makes a sort of low hiss type sound. doesn't sound like weezing or whistling more like if you put your top teeth on your bottom lip and just breath out. we never had a boa as big as her so we are not very sure if it's normal. I read somewhere that bigger snakes sometimes make noises like that but i figured i would ask here. Any help would be great thanks!

when in doubt take it to a vet. call around see which ones actually treat exotics. can be several things in all honesty.
