Mountain king snake ? Does this snake need a lower temperature ?

My brother found and caught this snake in his school yesterday , this is not out native snake (Taiwan) and I think this must be a escaped snake . I thought this was a Mexican king snake .

thanks for your reply .

Mountain Kingsnake, yes. Temps maybe 75°F at night and 82°F during the day will be fine. You can stop feeding during the winter time and cool the snake down considerably (55 - 65°F) if it stops feeding for you.

Can I keeping this snake in a higher temperature about 85 ~ 91 degrees during summer daytime ? bcoz summer will be always hot in Taiwan even room temperature

thanks.

try to keep it closer to 85 rather than 91. That's on the warm side but might be ok. Should be alright especially if it cools down at night.
