Milk Snake identity?

Can anyone identify this one, found near Lubbock Tx. It's a juvenile.

Yes,...as Mark mentioned, that is a New Mexico Milksnake(celaenops). Just a little further to the east, they would become heavily influenced by gentilis,....but that looks to be a good typical example of celaenops.

Hell, I wish I was finding celaenops! What time of day did you find it? They're supposed to be here in El Paso county but from what I've heard, all the recorded captures are from quite a while back. Anyway, great find!

Lubbock has very few milk snakes it is one huge cotton field .This is where i live and i have only found 6 in 40 years. I collected a pair breeding this year.Dmong is correct east is more gentilis west is cels .over the years we have had many a fight over witch they were to me celeanops all the way.
