As your forum paper-boy (albeit self appointed), I try to keep my modest postings to this forum as 'strictly press'. However, I tripped across the following blog (of which I know nothing) that had an item on the posted-on-19 August Muskegon Chronicle's coverage of the boa-killing event.
I found the blooger's posting on this subject intelligently argued and supported, and the item demonstrated that the author has a gift for writing very pointed satire.
If the group would indulge an old-newt keeper, please take a boo at the blog.

Well, it is nice to see that blog in reference to that ridiculous article for sure. ;p
Too bad a blog cannot undue the damage the article may have already caused. The community that the paper is run for was probably overtaken with fear, and of course, gratitude for the 'heroic' acts taken to destroy the 'python' and save them all! LOL! Of course, it is a step, nice to see it taken by someone who is not affiliated with a common advocate to the cause IMO.
