What you got there is the camera shy Invisible Monitor! Don't eat much and I believe they invented 'empty cage syndrome'
All in all, very low maintainence

I think it is the rare 'butt eating choad monitor' found mainly in the southern plains of Nigeria. ('buttis Choadis')

LOL If only the abandoned monitors were this cute.
I still say savy is my first choice with a nile coming up second in line. Running a rescue thats my bet!
