This is a little different but I sometimes have a slight allergic reaction to Watersnake Bites. It gets really itchy and a rash forms with little bumps like mosquito bites but it goes away within an hour or so. Someone else can speak more to actual infections.
There are many rear fanged snakes that are mildly venomous and many people have a miled reaction.

I'm not looking for people who have had a reaction, I'm looking for people that have had an infection.
And this is for non venomous snakes only.

I've seen pictures of people that have been really torn up by something like a big retic, where they needed stitches and infections is a real threat there.
With "normal" nonvenomous bites, I've always gotten the impression that they were about the LEAST likely punctures I can think of to get infected. Almost as if there is a "disinfectant" property to their saliva. I have very little other than my own personal anecdotes to base this on.
The most I've ever done to treat a non-venomous bite was once when 12 foot rock python sort of "slashed" my wrist with a glancing bite (still insignificant compared to the big retic bites I've seen). In that case I rinsed the wound (with well water unfortunately) and poured a little batadine on it. Most bites I've done no more (and unually less) than rinse with water and never had an infection from one that I can remember.
This bite stopped bleeding within 5 minutes after removing the snake, and was almost unnoticable in about 5 days. I think I only rinsed it with water, but it's been a while, so I MAY have used peroxide once.

What goes up must come down...unless it exceeds escape velocity.
Ouch! Good one!
