It's called a Pearl and its considered a "dead gene" as they don't live past the neo-nate stage....

Its not really a "dead gene" there are some that have made it..not a lot...but it is shown when bred in combination with another gene it strengthens the "pearl" and those do live past neonate stage....Thanks

I remember when NERD produced I think it was a lesser pearl they where hopeful that somehow the addition of another mutation would strengthen the pearl. I'm not sure how that would work but you never know; one chemical change might compensate for another.

But what is the news on those combos? Did they actually make it further or are you just referring to the expectation when they where babies? Have they been able to feed on their own to adulthood and breed? Are any pics of adult pearls or pearl combos available?

I'd love to get an update on the Lesser Platty Super Woma (Lesser Pearl)...

It looked wicked as a hatchling.
I remember seeing updated photos a few months later, but don't recall hearing of or seeing the Lesser Pearl since.

The Lesser Pearl is NOT displayed/featured on NERD's new, extensive Ball Morph/Combo page.
Maybe they simply forgot to photograph/include it??
