My two-headed dragon, Bert and Ernie!

jamie1231210 Sep 01, 2008 01:45 PM

Well, since two-headed dragons seem to be growing in numbers, I thought I would introduce my little girl. Her name is "Bert and Ernie"...we named her before she was big enough to sex. The name stuck even though she (or they) are female, lol. She turned 3 months old on August 16th. She is very active and spunky. She's never been hand-fed, she's always chased down her own food. She runs all around her tank. One head controls one side of the body, while the other head controls the other side of the body. Her lungs breath at different times and rates...which looks pretty weird, lol. "Ernie" is the more outgoing and dominant dragon, while "Bert" is pretty laid back. Both heads eat, drink, and function perfectly. They learned very quickly that they have to work together to walk, although they do sometimes disagree and pull in different directions. She's small for her age, but appears very healthy. She was on the news a few weeks back...some of you might have seen her.

I think all of us with two-headed dragons need to get together and see if we can set some kind of world record, lol.

Wow, I have seen some of the chat about this dragon on other sites and it is amazing how healthy it appears. Kinda looks like a photo shop job, good color too.

I find them facinating!

Although a 6 headed dragon would be that much cooler?
