Mostly for Doug...

Okay, here are the pictures of the corns, hopefully I managed to get the angle right... >_< If I screwed it up, I'll take new ones after Erik finishes shedding.

Lyle Menendez:

I posted pictures of 'his' belly because it's so different from Erik's. Is it possible that 'he' could be hypo for something, or is that only if there isn't *any* black on 'his' belly?

Okay... so I read back through your message... I'm going to have to retake those pictures, I think. It was hard to do with only one pair of hands & hold the camera, hehe. I'll try again after Erik sheds.

Yes,...you'll need someone to either hold the snakes, or take the pic,...it's extremely tough to hold the tail absolutely pulled out straight, and take the photo at the same time..LOL!(as you already found out). Also, it is crucial to get the ENTIRE tail from just above the cloaca(several ventral scales), to tail tip where you are pulling it nice and straight. When they are taken from even slight angles, the camera's depth of field can drastically misrepresent the tapering of the tail.

From what I can see, they both look to be males,...especially the animal in the bottom pic, but some better photos using the above criteria, should still help out a bunch more in being more certain.

I'll try again. I think I can get Clarence to hold the tail... any pictures he takes end up awfully blurry, hehe!
