hey guys - quincy is back in his large cage (like 3x4x6) but he stays on the floor mostly. he has trouble climbing still. he is very active, though, and tries to whip and bite when i try to pick him up. he moves fast, but his back legs are only about 90% what they used to be. will they be completely strong and usable soon or is this a mini-handicap for life? once he's in my hands, he is well behaved. he hasn't been bloated in a good 3 weeks, but he looks a little skinny and he's not eating as much as he did before the mbd signs showed up. i'm wondering howmuch time it takes to get thier apetites back and if it will take some time for his muscles to grow and regain strength. he just looks so skinny to me, and i'll bet he's older than he looks. he might even be a year old, now, who knows . . .
