08 longicauda litter from hypermel (DUW)

micahdenton Sep 02, 2008 12:28 AM

These all had their first shed over the weekend so I figured I got to take a couple of pics. these are from my 04 hypermel het anery breed to his striped anery 03 sister. so far I have produced one none anery hypermel and 3 anery hypermels. they all turned out to be male. so this is the first breeding with the hypermel genes. it took the hypers about 5-6 months to turn black so it will be a will before I can see if any are going to be hypermel and that still won't real tell us what kind of genetics it is, if it simple recessive his sister would be pos het and if it's Dom/co-dom then some of these will be hypers. if none of the babies are hypers then i will have to raise up some females and try again in 5-6 years.

first here is the dad

bad pic of mom when she was gravid

here is the 04 hypermel anery next to a 06 yellow phase these are full brothers just different years

ok here is the litter

i might have to hold on to this one

tail shot

this is the weirdest colored baby i had so far not real sure whats going on. all of the normals are litter then any of my other letters where but this one is just odd but i like it

and this one just would hold still

another that might not go to far from home

hope you like.

Nice ones, at least the pics I can see, the lighter animal in your "bro" shot looks like the sire to my recent litter of longis...bunch of neat ones in the litter too.
