so there i was this morning getting ready for work like any other day. shower, breakfast, get dressed, fix lunch and head out. well everything went fine until the "head out" part. i gave the wifey a kiss and walked out the door and around the corner only to fine something very odd in my driveway..... err more like a lack of something in my driveway..... like my big beautiful truck!!! yeah my truck was not there, i guess some one else decided that they wanted my truck more than i did.....

so after a stressful upsetting morning filling out stolen vehicle reports i got to work, put in a few unproductive hours and now i am home and truckless

so lets hope my baby isnt dismantled or totaled or in mexico lol

Yikes!! So sorry to hear about your truck getting swiped! out of your driveway too, oh man that sucks! I hope that it gets found safe and sound very soon!!!

Sorry to hear this, hard to believe there are people out there who would do something like this. I can imagine the lousy feeling you got when you walked outside and saw no truck. Hope you get the truck back soon!

Sorry to hear the news. I hate working with insurance companies on simple things, so I feel for you.

yeah i have prolly close to 2 grand in after market parts alone, and thats not counting the lift.... but do you think the insurance cares about that all they care about is 97 pickup with over 170k miles is not worth crap

was so sorry to hear about this. Damn low-lifes!!!! Really sucks to work hard to make/have something and then have some scum come along and take it!!! Hope they catch the creep and you get your truck back.

no nothing yet and i dont expect to hear anything, that truck is either totaled in the middle of the desert, scraped out for parts, or in mexico..... either way you look at it i think at this point it would be more of a hassle to get it back. as much as i love that truck i dont know if i even WANT it back after what it potentially went through... biggest issue right now is get as much from insurance as i can and go from there...

Stephen, I'm really sorry to hear about your stolen truck.
When my brother was a youngster, his fancy new motorcycle was stolen (it was his baby and only mode of transportation) and there was no sign of it for weeks. Just when he'd given up ever seeing it again, the police found it. It needed some repairs, unfortunately. I hope you have much better and faster luck with getting back your truck!

I once gave my friend a ride to work- on break she asked for my keys b/c she left her hair brush in the car---
She never came back... and has never been found or heard from... there was a note that said she got a phone call that her kid tried to kill herself in TX and she had to go... she couldn't walk back into work and tell me this... ?

I'd known the girl for 3 years... makes me sick...

Nice truck-- hopefully you get it back in one piece...

If it makes you feel any better- I had no problems from my insurance-- they paid for it in full and then a little.. so i had some $ for a down payment on a new car... which i love more than the old POS she stole... hahaha...

Major bummer and I hope you at least get some decent ins. money back if not your truck!!

That's amazing! Given that you knew the thief's identity, I'm surprised the police couldn't find her and get your vehicle back! But at least you got the money and a car you like better
