Special to me...Petco steal!

JackJebus Sep 02, 2008 07:55 PM

Me and my friend were at petco and of course I always have to look at the "exotic animals". I saw one lil ball that I had to have and with the pals card the price was right! Theres just something not so run of the mill about finding this one at petco. Ill find her a friend in a few years.

When we first got her...

about two months later and about 3 sheds.

Nice for a Petco find. Usually they're skinny and covered in stuck shed.

skinny and stuck with shed.... sounds familiar...

Glad yours worked out as a pretty kid --- I have gotten 13 --- 13!!! petco/petsmart snakes since the end of June... skinny, dehydrated, and stuck with shed...

God I hate petco...

She is pretty-- not a bad buy for $39 -- wish it hadn't come from that awful place but glad you got a good one- definatly a keeper!

Very nice colorful snake you have there! Always like seeing posts like this , makes you stop and remember what this is all supposed to be about, having cool snakes that you like to share with others, not for the money but because you like them for what they are, cool pets!! Reminds me of 15 years ago when I used to get all excited just looking thru a box of 50 normal newborn imports trying to decide which ones to take home , that was the start of my genetic gene pool.. Things sort of took off from there.. Looking back I am glad I started with the less expensive stuff, makes me appreciate what I have that much more when I look back at what I actually started with... Good luck to you with your cool new find, looks like she'll make a great pet or future breeder for the matter for you, for sure! Be careful , that's how alot of us got "hooked" at this addiction!
