My Trio ....

OZZ1978 Sep 03, 2008 08:50 PM

Guys I have to admit I am in love with boas again. I havent had any animals for a few years, originally I had boas so they do like them. Recently however I got into kingsnakes. OMG .... those things were such a pain in the ass to keep, they ate me out of house and home, deficated every other day and proceeded to crawl through it and smear it all over the cages. I sold them all off and bought this three animals. WHich are making me fall in love with boas all over again. When they defecate, I find them politely sitting on the opposite side of the cage as if waiting for me to come clean it up. No mess, no fuss, LOVE EM!!!

Following are many pics of my trio, '08 orangetail hypo jungle male, '07 salmon jungle female, and a '07 sharp strain albino girl. In a few years Ill be looking to produce super salmon super jungles and hypo jungles het for sharp strain jungle sunglow

I know what you mean. I haven't kept kingsnakes in a long time and can't remember how dirty they might be, but for sure boas are fairly clean animals. If givin the space they seem to always avoid their own mess. I like your first jungle and sharp albino allot, I can see why your interest is peaked once again.

Thats funny that you mention the poop issue. My 2 cornsnakes track it all over to. Drives me up the wall. Far more work than my Boas. Who, yes blast the side of the tank but obviously cant stand the smell either so they kindly wait elsewhere for me to get home and tidy up.....Good times
