she's looking good joel, i find that the best light for me is outside on a sunny day in the shade, to me the colors are more accurate, i really like your macro shots they look awesome.

Nice shots, I just got my macro lens (Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro) yesterday and is a really cool lens.

Shots taken indoors with a mix of flood, GE Reveal and some with camera flash as well. Subjects were a few Brazilian Rainbow Boas. Not super great pics but not bad at all for first pass at using the new lens - and did NOT even use a tripod!!!!

I just picked up my macro lens as well, It is fun!! I just need to play with it more. The first pic's I took were a lot better than the ones on this post, it is the lighting. Thanks Dave and have fun.
