Does a dragon blink up or down? I have seen some dragons that look like their eye lids come down from the top, like humans. Our dragon blinks from the bottom up. As you can understand, this is quite a dilemma.

Maybe it is a new morph, a bottom blinker. We should cross with a sandfire/gold/clearnail/melonhead/tomatofoot and see what we get! Just kidding, I watched mine for a while and the little buggers would not blink, I think it looks to me like they close from top and bottom both but I really could not tell. Now you have got me staring at my dragons waiting for them to blink, I need to get a life.

While I don't recall ever seeing my dragons blink before, I do know that when they sleep, they close their eyelids from the bottom.
Ours seem to do both here, but mostly from the bottom.
Also, I think I've seen one of ours blink what appears to be a 3rd, inner eye lid, that comes from the front, and moves to the rear. Only saw it happen once, and can't be sure if that was what it was.
Anybody know anything about this? Or know of a good reference for dragon anatomy, either online or off?
D.A.
Mine blinks from both at the same time so it meets in the middle maybe I will cross it with a sandfire/gold/clearnail/melonhead/tomatofoot so I can have really multicolorful children, then I'll inbreed for a few generations give them no supplements and sell them for $3,000 each!
Na, to much idiocy in that those dragons wouldn't be colorful or healthy. oh well my dream will never com true of asandfire/gold/clearnail/melonhead/tomatofoot/middleblinker.
