100% Succesful Hatch

beardielover17 Sep 04, 2008 07:56 PM

As of today around 6 PM all 21 eggs hatched and produced healthy, alert and crazy baby bearded dragons!!!!! This was Lizzy's 1st ever clutch of eggs she never laid any fertile or non-fertile clutches in her whole life (shes 4 yrs old). I am absolutely amazed and proud of my lil girl for producing such a great clutch of babies! Kudos to the daddy too because obviously without Magellan, I wouldnt have any babies! For a celebration the lizards and I all had our fav snacks which consisted of blueberries, cantaloupe, watermelon and plums and of course the dragons got their superworm treats too!

I don't know if this is your first time hatching beardie eggs, but it takes about 52-56 days at 83 degrees. I use vermiculite with water as a medium. Hope all goes well for you.

Sorry about the previous post. I thought she just laid them(duh). Anyway congrats. Baby Beardies have a lot of character as I'm sure you've seen.
