CARACAS, Venezuela—A college student working the night shift at a Venezuelan zoo is dead after letting a 10-foot python out of its enclosure.

Javier Hernandez manages the small zoo at Caracas' General Francisco de Miranda Park. He said Monday that 29-year-old Erick Arrieta violated park rules by letting the Asian python out early Saturday.

The biology major was found strangled to death, with a snake bite on his left wrist.

The python turned up down the hall.

yah link didn't work here either, but this is why my wife makes me promise that we will only get ball pythons, any thing bigger has the potental to be a danger to the family and isn't allowed, No relics or burmess for me, but that is fine, I like my balls.

I've seen this story before, and I've seen the twisted version as well. A intern zookeeper as well as Biology Major at the local University tried handling a python alone on the overnight shift. The Spanish version stated it was a Reticulated Python that weighed over 200lbs. I've also seen the twisted English version that says it ate him, or tried to.
