what are my tank options?

trex8692 Sep 05, 2008 07:30 PM

i really want to increase my leos tank size soon but i wanted to know if anybody used anything other than the usual aquariums or the "rubbermaid-style" containers.

i was looking on www.glasscages.com recently and i came upon somethings known as a "industrial containers"??.. they seem to be aquariums that are kinda built for research and look like theyre cheaper

but anyways what other container options are available for online purchase?

(the only thing i am kind of stingy about is the visibility of the container [otherwise i woulda used rubbermaids ])

Interesting site, but FYI their 20 gallon long is twice what we paid for ours at the local independent reptile store. So I'm not sure if you are really saving any money.

As for using them, if they are safe for fish, they're safe for leos - that's the short and sweet answer. Give us a heads up if you do order and tell us what you think.

welli havent planned on ordering yet, but i was wondering, is your reptile store just those stores that are not in chains?

do you happen to remember what brand your tank is?
