guys, need some help, tomorrow is the WP show in NY and I'm dying to get my 2nd snake. the problem is the wife isn't keen on the first one and a second one may result in both being moved to the basement. How cold can it get for florida kingsnakes during the winter months?

Also I've used under the tank heaters that stick to the glass but haven't ever used the heat tape, can someone explain a little about the tape and how hot it gets?
