ETB shedding?

agentskoal Sep 06, 2008 03:44 PM

Ive had about a 1 1/2 -2 yr old male emerald for almost 3 months and has yet to shed, however his skin is hazy and eyes are beginning to cloud, i havent fed in two weeks, should i wait until he sheds to feed? he hasnt really lost any body mass since the last meal so i assume he could go another week or 2 without starving to death....please post back.
Thanks

If it's skin is hazy along with it's then yes.... it's going into a shed cycle... Is this the 1st snake you have ever owned? It is pretty much common knowledge that most snakes will usually quit feeding at this time.

Keep the enclosure humid, and increase spraying when the snake's clears back up as this is when the skin will generally be shed off...
