What's the difference between these two morphs?

Also, I have proven female - 100% Het Albino that I am getting ready for my big albino male. I dont know if he's proven but he has almost no coloration (red) and looks like some of the snows I have seen. Last, I have been told the female has huge litters resulting in 50/50 Het/Albino ratio.

Another rookie question.... what are the chances of getting other morphs, like Snows, from such a pairing?

The Moonglow was breed by Mark Miller when he put his Double Het Snow boa with a Orangasm Triple Het boa. The main difference is white eyes on a moonglow vs. red eyes on a snow.
If you breed a het albino with an albino. You will get approx. half albinos and half hets for albinism. As far as getting other morphs from this breeding.....not likely.

It did, thank you very much. I did miss an offer to purchase a dbl het snow to bred with the same albino male while doing research on it. I kick myself for not acting faster. I never found the answers and gave up trying to find out the results of such a pairing. Is there any history on snows and albino pairing?

A snow is a combination of the anery (anerythristic) and albino genetics.... the moonglow is the same combination, except you add the hypo (hypomelanistic) trait.

IF you had bought the DH snow, your resulting litter still would not have any snows in it, BUT it would have albinos POSSIBLE het anery (as well as normal looking 100% het albino POSSIBLE het for anery babies) and in a few years you could attain a snow using the female offspring, or a couple if you use a male albino bred back to his mother and hope he proves out to be het albino; it would be a game of spinning the wheel for odds of course. IF your daddy albino was het for anery however, that would change everything in your favor.

I will also note, that even if you buy an animal that someone claims is het for something, you may be sorely disappointed when you raise it up and in a few years find you've been duped. Always try to buy from someone reputable, who offers a birth ID with a guarantee of the genetics you purchase. I bought a het albino and after a year of feeding, housing and care, got an all normal litter; and again the next year. I feel bad for folks who buy babies and wait 3 years to find out the snake is a normal. Ouch.
Good luck with your pairing, once you start nosing into the morph hobby, you could end up hopelessly addicted, I did!

Thank you. I made the purchase to have something beeding this year. I do have a stock that I am raising for 2010/11 breeding. The sellers for the Hets have guaranteed their genetics....we'll see. I think then, I bought the better of the two based on your info and my intensions.
