Thanks to ALL who replied, about me maybe breeding my albino male this season.

Special thanx to Markus Jayne for the info.

I just have been so busy lately I did not get a change to reply in my following post "Will my male albino 845 grams breed this season"

Markus, I've saved your reply on my computer, I am going to do what you say, and I will start my cool down in about another month or so.

I quote : "Night temps can go down to the low 70's and day temps in the low 80's. I only leave my heat on in my basking area during the day at 90 F. I shut it off completely at night. Do this for about 2 weeks to a month before introducing your male. "

This scares me to death! Temps this low, make worry that my snakes will come down with an RI infection!

Right now my night temps in the room are 82 at the LOWEST, with a basking spot of 90-91 that is available 24HRS. During the day the room temps are around 85-86 degrees.

If I try to go lower then 80 ROOM temps, during the night I am sure I will have to shut-off my warm air humidifier, because this in itself brings the room AIR temps up atleast by 4-5 degrees.

Would it be OK to let the humidity in the room (using open vented racks) drop to around 55% at night? I'm using aspen-sani-chip bedding, and ANYTIME I let the humidity go lower then 70% in the room itself, the snakes have problems shedding.

Sorry to turn this post into more question asking, I've been DYING to produce my own snakes OF ANY kind for a little less then 7-years now.

The wait is killing me! I get excited when my rats have babies! Snake babies will be VERY exciting
