Mold Question

maizeysdad Sep 07, 2008 07:30 PM

I've found tiny white spheres (lots of them) floating on top of the water in two different water bowls in the last few days. Has anyone seen such a thing? Any Idea what it is? I'm suspecting some type of mold, but the aspen substrate is dry and not moldy. Humidity is 57%. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Possibly calcium or lime do to water evaporation.

Not mold. Possibly wood lice. Someone mentioed them before.
No personal experience with them.

These look like tiny snowballs. Not lice.
