Sears line Hog Island pair

Redmoon Sep 07, 2008 10:35 PM

Here's my pair of Hog Islands that will be paired up this fall. I put the male in with her to clean his cage, and couldn't resist some pics to show them off together. I can't believe the size difference between them. The female is just about 6' long, and the male is a hair under 5', but he looks so tiny compared to her.

Enjoy!

Here was the male a couple sheds ago -

Thanks for looking!

love the Hogs man.....

they don't get enough attention in my opinion. I mean even at a big show, you can count on one hand.....sometimes one finger! the number of people that are selling true hogs.

I agree! I'm surprised they're not more popular as first boas, because they're gorgeous snakes, and perfect size for an introduction to boids.

Chris, that's the male I picked up from you in '06. I'm absolutely thrilled with him! I think I'll be contacting you soon about some more . . .
