snow question

sgraff Sep 08, 2008 08:49 AM

I have seen different pictures of adult snows. Some appear to be pure white and others seem to have yellow and pink bands. Are there different lines that produce differences in the color? If so what lines are what? thanks for any help.

Yes, there are yellow, pink and white snows. Terry Dunham originally categorized them in this manner. A heck of a lot of selective breeding needs to be done before there will be specific lines geared toward being mostly, white yellow or pink, as some snows have all three colors.
