This guy (Mr. Incredible) from the Essiquibo river delta area in Guyana

With this girl (Rose), also from the Essiquibo river delta area in Guyana

You get a PILE-O-PEAKS, affectionately dubbed; "Rose Inc".

This is the females second year in a row producing for me. She turned 7 years old last month. The male is a first time breeder and worked her like a CHAMP!
Last year Rose gave me 15 babies, no slugs, stills, or deformities. This year she gave 11 with no stills or deformities, but one slug (BOOOOOO), but I'm QUITE thankful for the 11 The way I see it, 26 Guyana BCC babies in approximately 58 weeks ain't bad!

She's going to get this season off while I try to get her up over 6' long.

F1 babies from WC founder stock. Doesn't get much better than that in my book!!

Thanks for looking, and thanks to everyone who called and/or emailed wishing me good luck. I appreciate it! :D

Nice to see someone working on producing this local of Guyanans! I am going to have a pure Essquibo pairing this coming season. I'll post some pix of my pair when I get some time. Congrats on a gorgeous litter. I have a funny feeling we might be taking soon!

Jonathan,
I am really psyched for you. Those babies are unreal. Rose sure came through with another perfect litter. I am going to go out on a limb and predict that they will have a little color when they get older. There are a few in there that I wouldn't mind raising for you if you got tired of em.

Those look amazing! Psycho peeks is an understatement!

If they look anything like the parents, they should be phenomenal as adults.

Congratulations again,

.

thank you all so much for such positive feedback! I can't express how happy it makes me to finally have the chance to reproduce with this pair, and to know everyone else see's their beauty like I do not only flatters me, but validates my decision to pair them as well! Having hand picked the dam 7 years ago as a little colorless baby, and the same for the sire 4 years ago - yesterday was just an incredible culmination of passion and anticipation!
I'm really looking forward to holding on to many of them and seeing how they turn out!
I told someone yesterday that picking the keepers won't be hard, picking those that go will be the difficult part. I suppose it's a good problem to have
Thanks again everyone!!

Thats an amazing litter. How did you do that two years in row? -Quite the rarity since their bcc!!!

jscrick Sep 09, 2008 04:19 PM

Everything about this is amazing. Especially that the Mom is under 6 ft. and produced so well two years in a row!!! I have to ask, did I understand that right?
Please let me know when those you do part with go on sale.
