AP T10 big enough for a 2nd Snake

I currently have a 4mo old regular RTB named Tiz who's 2'4" right now and growing. She looks awesome, has the perfect temperment, and eats like a pig.

I ordered a new T10 cage off of AP and should be getting it in 2-3 weeks. Handling Tiz I got the idea to get her a companion. For an additional $20 I could purchase a divider for the T10 which would turn the 4'x2'x15" cage into 2 2'x2'x15" cages and allow the housing of another snake each with about 5.5 cubic feet of room and 4sq ft of floor space. I have about 100 F/T mice of varying sizes so feeding wouldn't be a problem so long as the new one eats F/T.

Would the storing of two different boas in what is technically the same cage be feasible? Like on one side of the divider is Tiz (female BCI, don't believe she's het for anything) and on the other side having a male BCI? Would there be a problem w/ scent or anything else?

I ask because from what I've heard putting Tiz in this massive tank might spook and make her feel unnerved by the sheer size of it so why not get a divider and a 2nd snake? They'd still both have about 4sq ft to move around in satisfying the supposed rule of 1 LF of snake requires 1 SF of space.

I was looking at getting a regular RTB that is het for albino or some other morph but have also heard advice telling me to wait another 2 years or so until tiz matures.

I would purchase another AP cage after this year is up when they both start to outgrow the T10 so one gets the current and the other gets a new one.

When you divide this cage, how does it effect heating? Is all the heat under one side, with none under the other?

I wouldn't do it. And, by the way, snakes neither need nor want companionship.

After you get past the quarentine time you should be fine using the divided enclosure. Planning to grab another enclosure next year should work out just about perfect time wise for growth.
