OMG!! They're alive...

Lucien Sep 05, 2003 12:37 PM

From August 21, 2003 until today my juvie geckos I'd bred had been in the mail.. they arrived today at their destination ALIVE!.. I'm amazed...and overjoyed.. I really am.. I watched these guys hatch and I was so upset when we couldn't find the package.. We'd given up hope.. But they're alive.. agitated but alive..

Oooh, that´s amazing.. I´m so happy that they survived.. Do you know where they´ve been?

Lucien Sep 05, 2003 01:44 PM

Not a clue where they've been.. according to tracking information.. the only thing it says is they were "Missent" *rolls eyes* But they arrived in good condition from what I was told.. agitated but good condition. I'm so glad I packed them like I did... Lots of ventilation and moist paper towels to help with the cooling and hydration.... I didn't have any cold packs on hand when I sent them out...First thing I had the person do is soak them in warm water for 45 minutes to let them hydrate the rest of the way....Hopefully she can get some pics of them for me..

From Ohio to Kentucky.. we figured overnight it should get there... paid for express delivery and 2 weeks later they finally find the poor things. They're stressed as hell but in good condition despite that.. I guess she weighed them when they got there.. she had one other 4 month old gecko that was 12 grams.. my two at 4 months old were 27 and 28 grams...Must be doing something right *L*

Wow, that's amazing. They didn't evolve those tails for nothing.
