goldfish and ackies?

I have seen people feeding goldfish to their monitors. does anybody know if ackies like them?

Monitors are very non specific about what they eat. I am sure ackies eat fish. The question is, should you feed them fish and of what benefit would feeding fish, or in you case, goldfish, be to your ackie. The answer is, don't worry about fish, worry about learning to have success with your ackie. With that said, no one that I know of, had longterm success feeding ackies goldfish.

Also you use the word, LIKE, as in what they like. Ackies are like a person whos been on an extreme diet, they like anything as long as it fits in their stomach. The question again is, is what they like good for them. I, not only like, but I love apple fritters, but they are not all that good for me. Althought I keep telling myself they are.

I am sure a goldfish will not hurt them, but will it help them? I would think you may consider a diet thats shown to be of longterm success. Cheers FR
