ackies-rule Feb 19, 2006 06:13 AM

My ackie is very nervous, if we even walk in the room he wi;; go and hide. So i am wondering, do they calm as they grow because they are meant to be handalable, I only ask as i read this from a different site.

Most reptiles tend to calm as they get older/larger. The key is interacting with them on a regular basis. I would not suggest the kind of interaction that they often talk about on the bearded dragon forums though....that's just a bit foolish even for those hardy lizards.

You've got to let them get used to you and their surroundings, as with any other reptiles. I'm sure people on here experienced with ackies will give you better, more specific information.
