black faced ackie?

i noticed Frank mentioned he was raising six black-faced ackies. does anybodu have pictures of a black-faced ackie? ive never heard of them.

This type of ackie was named by Jon Weigel. He owns a reptile park in the Gosford(sp) area, north of Sydney. He attempted to discribe them as a new species. I do not know if he was successful or not.

I believe they are merely one of many subspecies of V.acanthurus. As without question, they are a ackie, As are Whites monitors.

You most likely will find pics other then one I posted here on an Ozzie forum. Cheers

John Weigel? that sounds familiar. did he discover a new species of brown snake a few years back? i think e found it in the kimberley?
