lwcamp or other Argus folks

What age or size do Argus become interested and have the ability to breed? I know the information in objective, but I would like to hear some observations. I have never come across any information on this in my research over the last year.

this is an old picture

Tripod was 29 inches in that picture. The picture is a couple of months old. He/She is 32 inches now. I got Tripod a few months ago from someone who had it for a year.

My other Argus, Thrasher, is a lot younger and is 30 inches now. He/She was 18 inches 5 months ago.

I put Tripod in with some one elses 2 other Argus (aprox. 33 and 30 inches) who I know are at least 2 or 3 years old and left them for a week. None of them got gravid (that I know of). They all got along great.

I have tried to put Thrasher and Tripod together, but they did not get along at all. I was hopeing to keep them in the same enclosure.

I wish I knew what the sex of all these monitors are. They could all be female for all I know.

I've had mine breeding at 9 months. I have heard reprts of them breeding at 6 months but have not yet observed that myself.

I hope this helps.
