I want your input, male or female?

Just currious to your best guess. I wish I had a shot of the tail base with me at work.

The last 2 photos were taken on 3-7-05 at 6AM.

I sent Luke a message asking him to check out the pics.
Maybe it quit raining in Seattle and he went outside while he could. Hope for the rains to return so he will get back on his computer. Hahahahahaha

Wow, I never knew I was so popular!

It is too young to really tell, but it is fairly robust and well muscled, plus it has a wide, thick head. This makes "male" my best guess.

BTW, I no longer live in Seattle, now I reside in Upstate New York where the local politicians have me busy fighting off reptile bans. My email adress has changed a couple of times since leaving the Pacific Northwest, too.

I wish I knew. Unfortunately, I've never had the opportunity to visit Australia, and as you know we can't get aussie argus over here in the states. Everything I've read and all the pictures I've seen shows no difference from what I am familiar with, however (except for V. p. rubidus, with that yellow tail tip).

Too bad you moved. I spent some time there. My Mother still lives in Tacoma. If it wasn't for the rain, I would go back. Beautiful counrty. We aint got any real mountains in Alabama.
